Surprisingly Powerful NAS for the Price – UGREEN NASync DXP4800 Review

Wasn’t sure what to expect from UGREEN stepping into the NAS space, but the NASync DXP4800 really impressed me. The Intel N100 quad-core CPU paired with 8GB of DDR5 RAM makes it surprisingly snappy, even when multitasking with file transfers, Plex streaming, and light container use. I haven’t pushed the M.2 slots yet, but the dual 2.5GbE ports give you serious upgrade potential right out of the box.

It’s also great that it’s diskless—lets you pick your own drives, and the setup process is pretty smooth. Having 4K HDMI out is a rare bonus at this price point too. UGREEN’s software is still maturing, but it’s usable and didn’t hold me back.
