Bright, Sharp, and Perfect for DIY Projects – 64×64 RGB LED Matrix Review
This 64×64 RGB LED matrix panel (P3.0) is a great pick for anyone working on Raspberry Pi or Arduino display projects. With 4096 LEDs, it delivers bright, vibrant colors and a sharp enough pixel pitch for text, animations, and even simple graphics.
The HUB75 interface makes it compatible with a wide range of controllers, and I had it up and running quickly using a Raspberry Pi. It works well for scrolling text, dashboards, or custom signage, and it’s responsive enough for basic animations or GIF-style displays.
Build quality is solid, and brightness is more than enough for indoor use (and even visible in shaded outdoor setups). Just keep in mind you’ll want a proper 5V power supply to drive it reliably.
If you’re into DIY electronics, LED projects, or building custom displays, this is a fun and capable panel.
